"Great location, spacious and clean apartment, needs a few upgrades"

Location, location, location - walking distance to cubbon park and several cafés and restaurants nearby. Spacious 2-bedroom apartment - we were a family of 3 and had plenty of space. Clean. Ground level has efficient washer and dryer machines which you can use (need to buy your own detergent from the mini mart).

Apartment had a weird smell as if it hadn’t been aired out so we opened the windows but they are only glass windows (no mesh) — they should explore putting mesh so that air can come in but insects stay out. Bathrooms are a bit dated - no mixer tap, shower curtains had damp smell. Could do some with some upgrades. They should just give / sell laundry detergent pouches for single time use, as no one can finish a large pack (and the mini mart doesn’t have small packs).
