Cozy Southampton Apartment Retreat

The properly had lots of cool gadgets which adults and children can enjoy, I kept finding more cool things, also the bed is possibly the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in, Netflix on tv and wifi on very clean and welcoming and cozy, beautiful shower with a big head above pre smaller one to hold with a light up mirror, kitchen is beautiful, and the host is the best host I’ve dealt with, answered any questions and replied very quickly even late at night and accommodated me very well, I stay in lots of different places like this but this is by far the best yet we don’t actually want to leave exactly as shown on pictures if not better !

It was central, clean and comfortable.

Apartment was clean and well equipped.

Arrived at time advised and drive was blocked was asked to knock on next flat to ask them to move. Music was blaring in next flat with noise going on till early hours.Now typing this at 1am and outside bedroom window next flat is smoking and shouting in the street been going on for 30mins and no sign of ending..Long drive and no sleep tonight. Avoid.

I liked the flat was clean and close to town

I didnt like that the flat was lived in and someone was living there and everything had been hidden aside ,also location is lively in evening with unemployed people shouting between 12-2 in morning drinking white lightning outside .

The communal front door was wedged open with a brick, our key was left in an open mail box! The fire escape was blocked with a clothes horse! The fire alarm was missing, only the base remained! The curtains in the bedroom were inches short and the room was bright as outside. The sofa bed in the lounge was not possible to use due to no curtains on the window. We immediately cancelled and left but took time stamped photos. The host agreed to a refund via text, but now has refused and has provided an old photo, of when it did have a smoke alarm. We are currently contacting Trading Standards, the property is a fire risk and dangerous, it shouldn’t be advertised.
