"Unique, memorable, quirky - we loved it but it's not perfect"

Lovely friendly hospitable owners and a unique experience staying in their old converted mill. Amazing pastry chef (get into the Italian habit of eating cake for breakfast!) and dinner is a memorable event worth staying in for during your stay. A lovely peaceful haven within easy reach by car of many local attractions.

The room is very comfortable but the bathroom could do with some work. There is no separate shower cubicle (but there is ample space to fit one) and no curtain around the bath, so be prepared either to use the bath rather than the shower, or to shower crouched/sat down to avoid soaking the whole bathroom.....OK for a few days but not for an extended stay.

"Just a fabulous stay."

We had a great stay at Maria and Vincent's Frantoio Del Moscatello. From the moment of our rather late arrival to several days later when we had to leave we were generously treated to their wonderful Italian lifestyle. The only thing more charming than the rehabilitated mill house was Maria and Vincent and their family. Maria is a fabulous chef. Vincent is an outgoing expert on Camaiore and the surrounding area. Our meals were special. Our room was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and clean. And whenever we are in this area again we will only stay here.

Frankly, nothing could have been better.

The food provided was absolutely fabulous. Vincent, Lena and Maria have done an amazing job turning this olive oil mill into a cozy, comfortable home. Vincent is fun, cheeky and had us in tears of laughter! Located a few moments away from a beautiful duomo and plaza as well as next to a marina - beach 20min away

We may have missed the beauty of Vincent if we didn’t have an Italian speaking friend join us.
