A fantastic stay Anna and Simon were very welcoming. Great breakfast, beautifully decorated home, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Great base for outdoor activities walking trails from the village. Drying space for boots and coats. Helped with secure storage of bicycle. Short walk to local pub. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Lovely setting, lovely house, lovely hosts

Our room was beautiful and comfortable in evey detail and the hosts were helpful. Breakfast options were varied and generous.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at, and I thoroughly recommend it. We were greeted on arrival with a warm welcome and tea in front of the fire - which was bliss as we had arrived wet and muddy from our day out in the cold rain. The house is so beautiful, and our room was really impressive. We had everything we could possibly need, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom huge with an excellent shower and heated towel rail - it's so nice to come back to a warm bathroom when you've been out in the rain and need to warm up! We enjoyed sitting next to the log fire in the lounge in the evening. And the breakfasts are wonderful - all ingredients locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. Anna and Simon were both so friendly and welcoming, and really made our stay a special one. They went out of their way to help us out e.g. storing our bikes safely, and I loved how every morning there was fresh milk waiting for us at our front door for a pre-breakfast cup of tea! We will certainly be back.

We had a wonderful stay here and it really could not of been better. It is a beautiful and peaceful location and the property and accommodation was wonderful. Our hosts Anna and Simon were very welcoming and friendly and made us a lovely pot of tea when we arrived which we enjoyed in the guest sitting room. Our room was nicely appointed with a modern private bathroom and a comfort\able bed. There are lots of books and maps available to borrow. The guest sitting room is peaceful and comfortable. The breakfasts we had were fantastic. It was more fine dining than B&B. The English breakfast was very good with local sourced sausage, black pudding and bacon. We stayed for three nights and also enjoyed further breakfast delights such as smoked trout with scrambled egg and bubble and squeak with poached egg and bacon. Simon has quite a talent for making breakfast! Lots of tea, fresh coffee, toast and marmalade. Just great.

Millslade Country House was perfect. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and the room was spotless. Bed was truly comfortable, breakfast was delicious with good options and I cannot recommend staying here enough. Far better than all the other accommodation available in this area, without a doubt.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful, peaceful valley within easy reach of he coast. Although it was our first time there, we were made to feel like family friends. Room, shower and breakfast were all excellent

Great location on Exmoor, right in the countryside. Walking distance to a pub that does good food. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable accommodation.

A few biscuits with the tea in the room would he nice.
