lovely garden villa in a peaceful location off the main road and only a few minutes walk from the beach. A perfect location to explore Unawatuna on foot and the surrounding beaches by tuk tuk. We booked for 3 nights but extended our stay for 7 days. The hosts were friendly and helpful providing advice for rentals, food and laundry. The accommodation was very clean. We would highly recommend staying here :)

Great location 5 min from the main beach, 2 min from the restaurants. Big room with AC, fridge, a cosy balcony and the shower had always hot water and good pressure. The host is a nice person and had a lot of useful tips. The property also has an outdoor kitchen where you can prepare some quick bites.

The location on Egodawatta lane is quiet with very little traffic and is close to restaurants and a short walk to Unawatuna beach. The room and bed were large, with plenty of space. The room and whole property were clean and well presented with outside lounge areas and covered garden seating. Sunil and his staff were welcoming and provided items on request and booked an early tuk-tuk for our departure. I would stay here again.

Great location close to the main street but also quiet at night the rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Sunil and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly and would join us for beers and a chat out the front every evening before dinner I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Unawatuna ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very pleasant stay in Sunil Guesthouse, we had a very early check-in (04.00 am) after 24 hours trip and had troubles with our taxi driver, but Sunil and Helena did their best to help us to accommodate without extra payment for early check-in. The owners are very friendly, Helena was very kind and gave us recommendations for shops, ATM, cafes and different services. The location of guesthouse is very close to the seashore and to the main touristic road, with a lot of cafes and bars - Daffodil is the best cafe in town with seafood. WiFi connection is good and available on the territory including the terrace, where you can sit at the evenings and had a chat with neighbors or Sunil. Hope to come back once again.
