Air conditioner wasn't working and also sum mugs were leaking.

Very spacious apartment, clean towels and linen provided. For check in, you have to set up a meeting with the agent, but check out is very easy. The neighborhood is very quiet and good for relaxing.

There are no toiletries provided and beds are not that comfortable

To say a host is dishonest is to say nothing I booked the apartment on the 25/06 (together with 5 others in Italy in different cities) in a non refundable option as I had my tickets to Italy bought, the final price was mentioned and fully charged. I even checked on online already On 26th night I received a message that there is a deposit paid upon arrival and a city tax BOTH in cash. No exact amount was mentioned. So I contacted Booking to cancel the reservation for me free of charge as the conditions of agreement are different than what I signed for. I got the reply they agree with me but need to request it to the host as cannot do it themselves and the host has 24h to reply. In the meantime I of course booked another flat which I could cancel free of charge in the next 24h, cause I was not going to pay in 2023 a penny in cash, where I don’t have a proof of payment, as for me it is purely a scam. The host DID NOT reply within 24h in spite of being written and called multiple times by me and by Booking. Then after 2 days they woke up that they don’t agree for free canceling Outrageous! And yes city tax is everywhere in Italy but in all other apartments in the last week it was included in the total price as it should. I strongly advise against such unreliable host who take their clients for idiots.

The apartment is as in the pictures, it is spacious enough for a family with 2 children, it has the necessary equipment: washing machine, heating, microwave oven, an equipped kitchen, enough storage space in the rooms. It is located in a quiet area, quite safe, with parks (in the nearby river we saw beavers and ducks), it is close to several supermarkets. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the central station. For Bologna, the quality / price ratio is correct.

I would recommend other linen for the matrimonial bed, I would like the quilt that is also used by other guests to be in an envelope sheet. The door lock at the entrance could be improved.
