Monaco Resort Apartment

It was an unusual but pleasant location.

A dirty grill pan in the oven, a broken dish and a chipped plate were not acceptable. This type of thing should be checked by those readying the apartment for guests.

Very nice apartment,

Apartment was not ready when i arrived earlier than planned at 2:20pm came back later and it was ready but had been cleaned in a rush. Came back again after work and somebody had taken my allocated Carpark, (old White Toyota station wagon with bedding in the back) so i had to double park behind it. they must have got the message as didn't happen the next day.

The size of the kitchen was amazing

Misleading advertising and hidden payment costs. This is NOT a poolside apartment and the total amount paid does not reflect my credit card statement

The apartment is superb! Everything is thought out perfectly, the decor is perfect. The apartment is also very spacious.

This isn’t a reflection on the property or owners. This is a comment for the property managers (Holiday Nelson) through booking.com. Found them very difficult to deal with, didn’t pay attention to anything that was being said and caused a stressful situation for no reason. Also didn’t know any of the answers about parking when we arrived and failed to listen properly to what was being said. The manager from Monaco ended up sorting it and calling us directly. Which brings me to a comment for Monaco themselves, not having designated parking spots for the apartment seems silly, the whole time we were there two cars that were staying elsewhere in the complex were just left there? Meaning we had to park outside other peoples units down the way and carry stuff back and forward.

Very easy to settle in and everything was tidy and clean. Hosts were excellent in dealing with my extended stay at very short notice.

The only small qualm I had was the missing laundry facilities in the apartment. I appreciate it is perhaps set up for visitors with more time....however as I was there for work on a 24/7 project I was not able to do my own laundry as and when required. I know there was an external laundry coin operated facility but this was not suitable for my stay. so as I had not planned for an extended stay, my only option was to purchase more socks etc. :)
