Azienda Agricola Ausono

Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants, directions and local hiking trails. The room itself was modern and very comfortable with a view that literally took our breath away. A peaceful location too where the only sound was the clinking of a cow bell down in the valley. Everything we needed for a 2 night stay in this spectacular region.

A little bit hot during the summer months

Ausono is in a great spot to explore the national park. The place is very well equipped, spotlessly clean, with an amazing view. At the time we arrived no restaurants were open in the area, however, Giacomo cooked us a traditional and very tasty dinner. Giacomo is a wonderful person and an excellent host! In addition, he helped us so much to plan the rest of our trip. Overall, we had a great experience. Totally recommended

We stayed for a night in ausono and wished we had more time in the area! Firstly, it is in the perfect spot to explore Cilento National Park with ample of hiking routes around the area. The view itself is beautiful from the house and pictures can do it no justice. Jacopo who runs the place is warm and friendly, very welcoming and made us feel just at home. On top of running the house, he farms and produces the most delicious olive oil and honey that you can try when you stay there. The room is spacious and again - beautiful view. It has a large bathroom (great shower) and comfortable bed. It is close to Valle dell'Angelo town center where you can have dinner at his aunt's restaurant (amazing local produce and home cooked food!!). I would say the stay was perfect and we would definitely come back/ recommend anyone in the area to go.

great place! authentic southern Italy at its best! Jacapo is a fantastic and knowledgeable host ! local village Osteria serves delicious local food!

We stayed with a Dutch /German family of 5. The journey to the Azienda is incredible with the most amazing views. Rooms are spotless with balconies overlooking the mountains and village, perfect for star gazing at night. We reserved for diner, the restaurant is in the same building and is excellent. Local food and wine with a lot of explanation if you are interested. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. We will most definitely be back.
