Ventura Ridge Apartment

The apartment is located in a nice and central neighbourhood with plenty of stuff to do and a Starbucks coffee across the street. It's walking distance to one of the large metro stations and it's very easy to get around city with public transportation from there. The apartment is very big with 3 equally-sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it's perfect for a family with two teenagers. The interior of the apartment was renovated in a lovely manner and it had some very beautiful details with the original window panels, doors and floors. We had a great couple of days there and even though we booked with really short notice, everything just worked as expected :) Thank you!!

A honest opinion from a group of 6. Only book here when you want to party in the weekends. The bar street is next to the appartement and very noisy in the weekends. We were there for 4 night but only slept ok for 2. The beds are ok but the pillows were as flat as can be, we requested new pillows but received a no. I also read some messages about broken items such as a missing shower door, they promise in the comments on booking to fix it but months later nothing is fixed.. so probably if you would book now nothing will be fixed. Overal hygiëne could also improve. We would recommend to stay somewhere else.

Location is very central with good food and bars/nightclubs nearby/underneath (stay if that’s your plan every night, don’t if it is not).

The property notes ‘a little louder than usual’, they do not note that it is directly above a night club that is so loud (particularly on fridays and saturday’s) that the entire floor vibrates so you feel nauseous and will keep you up till 4am.We also had loud shouting and people getting arrested outside the building. Internal issues included the backwash of the toilet leaking, broken shower head, mould in the shower (and smells musty/bad), wobbly toilet seat and otherwise poor care taken. The beds are extremely hard and the ‘pillows’ aren’t existent. You get given a tiny couch cushion insert (super thin) folded up in a pillow case (only one per person). Despite raising this we were told we had to pay extra for more ‘pillows’ and that’s it basically. They also don’t provide towels for infants. The couch had suspicious stains and the rug is dirty. The outside of the building felt derelict with boarded up windows and graffiti. We genuinely wanted to get out after night one and book alternate accomodation but had already spent so much and unsurprisingly this was non-refundable.

Smelly toilet and no shower screen which flooded the bathroom when used VERY noisy as next door to a club/bar so sleeping was difficult Dark steps to the apartment which is hard to find- need a sign on the main gate

SOOOO noisy! Very central so that was fab but above clubs and bars so I'm afraid noisy all night long. We stayed on a weekend so perhaps quieter in the week. No wine glasses!! Such a beautiful appartement. We were sat having a glass of wine out of a pint glass!
