Pondok Lestari Kadidiri

The accommodation is located on the Kadidiri island which has a beautiful coral reef for snorkeling and stunning beaches on it. The bungalows are well-equipped for Togean standards and the host family is so friendly and helpful. The food, which is included in the price, is delicious. All in all I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who is planning on staying on the Togeans.

Everything is amazing, food is often caught the same day. It is the cheapest place in togean! The host family are very nice people and do there best to make you feel at home. The house reef is ok.

Maybe install a shower head in the shower :) Also bring your own snorkling gear, they dont have many but you can rent from the resort next door.

Der Aufenthalt im Pondok Lestari hat uns gut gefallen. Der Bungalow war in Ordnung, das Essen sehr lecker und der Strand mit dem vorgelagerten Riff schön zum Schnorcheln.

Leider war die Kommunikation etwas problematisch. Informationen über unsere Aufenthaltsdauer, sowie die Weiterreise, die wir bei der Ankunft mit dem älteren der beiden Brüder besprochen hatten, wurden von ihm überhaupt nicht weitergegeben. Er sicherte uns bei der Ankunft zu, sich darum zu kümmern. Jedoch fiel dann eine Stunde vor geplanter Abreise auf, dass er verreist war und niemand etwas von unseren Plänen wusste. So mussten wir innerhalb einer Stunde eine Bootsfahrt zum nächstgelegenen Hafen organisieren und eine volle Nacht extra zahlen. Das hat dann zwar alles spontan geklappt, ärgerlich war das Versäumnis jedoch trotzdem. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Leider ist der Strand etwas verbaut und nicht so paradiesisch und unberührt wie andere Orte auf den Togeans.

Nice, Togean family run resort. The bungalow are simple, but big enough for two people. The bathroom has it’s own dedicated shower area. The private porch has comfortable lounge chairs and a new hammock. The reef in front of the resort is wonderful, the beach big enough to sun bath and swim ( at high tide). The food was really good, with daily fish and a variety of vegetables. Pudhin, the oldest sun, speaks perfect English and is a great guitar player and singer; they made bone fires couple of nights.

It was on the most beautiful beach, the bungalows are adorable and right across from the clear, turquoise water. The facilities are simple, but very well maintained. We loved that it is family run and were extremely well fed and taken care of by them. We visited during the off season, so even though it was one of the most affordable options on Togean Islands, it felt like a luxury experience since it was so quiet and peaceful.
