Klauzal Bella Apartment

We liked the location, the cleanliness, the size of the place and the comfort of the beds and the neighborhood.

The check-in process was really complicated because the host didn't say I will need a special App to get the code. Meanwhile you do not have a key for the apartment and we were always stressed if we are going to have battery to get in after a whole day of wondering around Budapest. Also there was no additional roll of toilet paper, we were 3 people for 4 night stay with 1 roll of toilet paper The apartment is with share door with a second property and it was noisy during the night when the boys from the other apartment were coming back from party.

Location was very good

The smell of damp all the time . The bathroom door handle was broken so was not SAFE you could easily get locked in

Being at a central location. A good number of restaurants around. City easy to walk.

Somewhat tricky to check in, we had to download two applications to be able to 1. checkin remotely and 2. to unlock the door. Had problems scanning our IDs and automatically detect data from our IDs. Finally we were asked to take picture and send our IDs via what's up. I think this is not a good practice. Entering the room, the temperature was 14 C. As per our understanding, the agency being in touch with us remotely, informed us that the convector heating is not working. They visited the property only to confirm that we can not use the heating. We understood that the only way to warm up the room was to use air conditioning. This has been problematic for us since air conditioning is unhealthy. We explain that to the agency but no action was taken to fix heating. The room smell due to humidity has been intensively unpleasant. Combined with the use of air conditioning, the situation has been unbearable. Despite our having the door and window open, the smell as well as the humidity has been intense for all days of our stay. We also noticed that, unfortunately, only one body towel is provided for each person, and there is no personal face towel. Apparently our hosts thought that we should use our body towel on our faces. Despite our request, no face towels were provided. We are a family of four.

The appartment it s very cosy, clean and confortable. It is located in the center, near metro, shops, bars and restaurants.

Nearby, it is a street that it s forbiden for the tourits. There are two different and conflicting signs : one sign it is written in hungarian , that is forbidden for strangers and the orher one it with one way . Be careful , the local police gives , for tourists, fines very expensive: 100 euro

Great apartment for small groups of up to 6 people, clean and nicely decorated. Location is central to Pest and very near many Ruin Bars, wide variety of restaurants and the main attractions which are within a 30 min maximum walking distance. The host are very nice and have been flexible with our requirements.
