Well situated just outside of town. I'm a biker so found it very safe. And it's location to the beach is great.

Host brought me a home cooked meal and washed my clothes for free.

Booked the apartment without a sea view, room was dark and felt isolated from Podstrana. I would not recommend this property if you're looking for a beach-style stay. The location is further away from the water than you think, situated on a busy main street. Limited restaurants/cafes in the area, although there are two supermarkets. Host spoke no English and was unwilling to communicate through Google translate. Wifi connectivity was poor and there was no reception to be able to use mobile data. Overall, I wanted to leave this property as soon as I got here..
