Fridge was smelly with water in the bottom. Rubbish bin wasn't emptied the 3 days I was there and got smelly.

A scam

Location is solid

Elavator doesn't work, our apartment was on the 4th floor. The smell of the apartment hallway is awful. Walls are paper thin, so don't expect to get much sleep. Upon entering our room, the door handle fell out - we had to put it back many times, so that we can return inside our room. No clean towels were provided, host checked us in on phone - and a different guest of the object actually welcomed us, showed us our room and gave us some towels. On the last day of our stay, a woman which I assume is the host started screaming inside the object at 6:30 AM and woke us up. The conflict escalated when I asked them through the walls to be quiet. We were frightened. The neighbors also yelled at the lady - and some time later she left the house screaming. We packed our things immediately and left the premises. Spend your money elsewhere, avoid at all costs.

Excellent location! We had the place to ourselves as the rest of the apartment was unoccupied. The accommodation was clean enough, with a kitchen, hot water, and a hairdryer. There is an elevator in the building. The host was very friendly and answered all our questions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

As for the downsides, it was very hot — but that’s typical for Budapest weather, it was 38°C. There are fans in the rooms, which helped. The mattress was a bit too soft, and the pillows were quite thin. Also, keep in mind that there are street parties at night, so it can get noisy, but closing the window helps.

Couldn't get in the flat because a woman was locked out with bleeding fingers accompanied by ambulance and police. It was a terrifying site for children (and adults).
