Location to ferry
This is not motorbike friendly, do not go on a bike you are not allowed on site. The caravan could do with TLC and was twice as expensive as the others on site. Understand Heather has just taken over and is having some issues with site. But it was a disappointment all round

Spotless. Lovely location. Warm and very cosy
A real faff to get the tv to work. Not that important but a little annoying at the end if a long day. After a few nights in a hotel… expected towels!!!

The caravan is comfortable and has everything you need. Argyll Forest is literally down the road with plenty of walking trails to explore. The petrol station and shop right next to it is very handy, but Dunoon isn't too far away either for extra supplies (and another lovely place to walk).

Beautiful outlook over the hills
There was no communication from the owner that the caravan was not ready in time and with two small children this was very inconvenient especially as we were only there for one overnight stay. The information on booking.com is incorrect. The place is Kilmun not Sandyland and it doesn’t indicate the caravan park that it’s in. The link takes you to a derelict static caravan in the middle of the field. It also states that it’s a quiet place from 9pm but the caravan to the right had some celebration and were noisy in to midnight!
