Beautiful surroundings and great home cooked food. A family owned place that takes good care of you when visiting.

Wunderschön etwas abseits in den Bergen gelegenes Gästehaus. Ruhig und weit ab vom Schuss. Das Betreiber-Ehepaars war sehr sehr freundlich. Ich habe spät abends noch leckere Krautwickel bekommen und natürlich auch einen leckeren selbst gebrannten Pflaumenschnaps. Hier komme ich sehr gerne wieder her.

My stay at Etno domaćinstvo Dvožak is one of my favorites! The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They're an incredibly kind family and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. The entire route to the house follows paved roads so the drive there is easy. The facilities are brand new and beautiful - a lot of natural materials. There are huge windows all around the indoor dining area and there are two outdoor seating areas. The house is tucked into a hill and surrounded by a dense forest. There's a little stream running by the property and there are benches in the yard where you can sit and admire the views. (I bet you'd have a great view of the sunrise from one of those benches.) My room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. I have sensitive hearing and could hear conversations and music from the restaurant in my room, but another guest said he couldn't hear anything from his room. If you're sensitive to noise you might want to bring some earplugs, but it's not a big deal. The bathroom was spotless and everything was impeccably clean. The food is delicious and hearty, but not heavy. Milica makes the best bread and packed me sandwiches to take hiking. Although you feel blissfully secluded in the forest, you're really close to Plužine so you can take advantage of all the activities that start from there. But you don't have to venture far from the house to enjoy the stunning nature of the area. There's an easy walk to a waterfall; Dragan cleared the path to the waterfall himself and I'm pretty sure he's the one who added the helpful signs. There are also several beautiful hikes in Piva Nature Park that are a brief drive (or an extended walk) from the house. The house and surrounding area are amazing, but the family who runs the place is the true gem. I met Dragan, Marija, and Milica and they were all amazing! They took such good care of me.

Trotz meiner Flugverspätung und damit späteren Ankunft wurde ich sehr nett empfangen. Ich habe den Weg auch im Dunkeln gefunden, also nicht von der Lage abschrecken lassen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Englisch der Tochter ist hervorragend! Das Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr lecker. Ich würde es wieder buchen!

המשפחה ממש חמודה והמיקום יפה מאוד המשפחה עזרה לנו עם הרכב ואפילו הסיעו אותנו עד למטה כדי שלא נסתבך לנהוג בכביש מקסימים ומארחים מצויינים

Die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Alle sind sehr kommunikativ, zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Beim Abendessen wurde die Speisekarte erklärt und Empfehlungen gegeben. Alles war frisch zubereitet, reichlich und sehr schmackhaft. Auch beim Frühstück konnte man auswählen, welches auch frisch zubereitet wurde.
