Gopalapuram Guest House

Està molt aprop de la platja i es una zona tranquila amb molts restaurants molt aprop. L'habitació té les instal-lacions necessaries per sobreviure-hi una nit pero no massa mes.

En general tot està bastant vell i brut. Al WC justeja l'aigua calenta. Es un preu car pel que hem pagat a Sri Lanka per.habitacions molt millors. L'hospitalitat dels propietaris també justeja. Quasi ni els hem vist en 2 nits i a l'hora de cobrar-nos ens van dir que no tenien canvi i no van fer massa cosa per aconseguir-ne.

El baño estaba muy sucio, parece que no lo limpian. Había algún pelo y restos en el WC. En la habitación había arañas, avisamos para que cambiaran nuestra habitación y han venido con escoba a matarlas.

A 300m de la plage, logements situés dans un endroit très calme. Le petit déjeuner est simple, bon et typique .

La chambre n'était pas très propre en arrivant. Quelques difficultés pour se comprendre en anglais.

This is a very basic budget guest house. It is only 150 metres to the main Nilaveli beach and the boats to take you to Pidgeon Island. The room was decent and the shower water pressure was excellent. The beds were comfortable and we had air conditioning. The provided breakfast was basic but nice. In this price point it provided what you needed. If the owner gets the cleanliness issues sorted then we would rate this guest house higher.

It was obvious that the unit had been unused for a while and not cleaned prior to our arrival. The toilet had not been flushed for so long that there were mosquito wrigglers making their home there. There was mould and hair in the vanity drain and the whole unit needed to be swept and mopped to clean it up. We spoke to the new owner who only took over 2 weeks ago and told him that we would be making a comment on the cleanliness in our review. We showed him the bathroom and the dirty floors. I am sure he will get the cleanliness up to scratch.

Quiet place, close to the beach

It is very simple and basic accommodation. The price matched the quality.
