Ariwigangga Guest House

Ariwigangga is a small, 4 room homestay attached to the owners house. It is a little hard to find as it is embedded in a dense traditional village housing group in a typical small farming village that makes up the landscape of the western edge of Canggu. The construction is of good quality and the rooms are clean and attractive with well-made traditional bamboo furniture. They have private bathrooms. The beds are quite comfortable and have an insect netting canopy (although not needed as the rooms have AC). Wifi is good with a router in the room.

The negative points are three: hot water showers but a slightly slow water flow. A bathroom sink that strangely allows the waste water pipe to drain onto the floor of the shower (??!!!) and the owner's dog that barks incessantly at every sound. Improve these three things and I would look forward to returning. The location is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The village has few amenities and food offerings are a bit limited.

Airco and bed

When raining, the water from the roof falls on the plastic roof one floor lower. This makes a very irritating sound. Suggest to put some rubber or something else to reduce this noise.

Everything was pretty decent. The cleanness and how comfortable was bed were amazing.

Location. But if you are looking a for quite and uncrowded place that’s your spot.
