Business Hotel Matsuoka

Very Central. Very beautiful Orgamis everywhere.

It probably used to be a smoking hotel as it still smells like it. It’s generally a bit run down.

Hotel looks run down from the front. But our room was great, pretty big and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Not fancy but great value for money

Staff were friendly and welcome. Place was clean. Location excellent, directly opposite the bus station and within walking distance of all major attractions in Akan itself. Competitively priced for the area.

The hotel is old and a bit worn. Musty smell, but that's probably the use of tatami. Can be noisy if other guests are inconsiderate. Use of futon for Western guests may be uncomfortable, as a side sleeper there wasn't enough support.

Friendly and affordable. The hotel has a nice small hot spring.

Walls and windows are thin, so I don't recommend this place to light sleepers. We woke up in the early morning because of the sound of heavy trucks on the road and of fellow guests (hikers who got up early) running through the hallway.
