AMARASINGHE GUEST HOUSE

We had such a lovely stay at this place in haputhale, just a short distance from the town. The whole place had a such a calm and peaceful vibe and the garden view is really beautiful. What i liked most was the sense of freedom and the overall atmosphere. It just felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were really good and helpful, which made everything smoother and more pleasant. The owner is genuinely kind person and you can clearly see his passion for cricket and travel reflected around the place which adds a nice personal touch.

Maison très bien entretenue. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres. Petit déjeuner super. Emplacement un peu à l’écart de la ville. A quelques pas (suivant le petit passage secret donné par l’hôte), on trouve un super restaurant où j’ai mangé un délicieux Kottu. Le cadre est magique! La vue au coucher de soleil et au réveil incroyable :) J’ai été parfaitement reçue. Les hôtes ont tout fait pour m’aider. Je recommande vivement.

Nice room with a large balcony. Quiet but fairly close to town. Helpful owners. Good value.

Steep walk to town but tuktuks are easily available.

We stayed here for one night while hiking the Pekoe trail. The owner is super hospitable and helpful. The room was comfortable enough for one night.

Hospitality Srilankan way of hospitality well demonstrated .extra ordinary care by the staff well appreciated . Worth the money spend. Would recommend highly to any one who wants to stay.
