Elegant house Stockholm

Die Terrasse oben auf den Steinen. Ganz nettes Haus, aber zu wenig Fenster. Das Bett zu hoch und zu weich.

Zu wenig Fenster. Schlechte bis gar keine Kontaktmöglichkeit mit Vermieter.

Option to have 2 adults and 2 kids Was close to where I needed to be - there was some coffee provided which we could use on the first morning, which was nice and then we managed to buy whatever we needed after.

-the experience right from the start was not good, after booking I got a message from host asking me to send them money for a security deposit. As per my understanding all payments should be routed through the booking platform. It took many follow ups to get a resolution. - when we arrived at the house the key pad wouldn’t work as the code was different to what we received on the check in instructions. That took about 30 mins of frantic messaging and calling to get a response from the host, not the best check in experience. - the house facilities were good in general, the bed linen for the sofa bed and bath towels need to be changed it looked so old and worn out. Also the water heater situation which you had provided advance information about on the house rules sheet needs to be changed. Even after being extra careful with use of water, by the time the 2nd person is midway though the shower the water is not hot at all, not ideal when there were 4 of us. - on the last day the internet stopped working in the morning I messaged the host around 7am local time as we needed to be connected for work I got a reply around 2pm after we had already checked out, not a very good response rate.

Tidy and clean place with parkong and private access. Plenty of space for multiple guests (we had two adults and two kids). Well ventilated - even though it didn't gave AC it wasn't required as there are a lot of windows that can be opened for fresh air. Kitchen was well provisioned with everything you'd need to cook, including a coffee maker and they even provided coffee, which we very much appreciated!

The host required a deposit (outside of the Booking.com platform) which wasn't mentioned in the listing. I also needed to chase them for a refund. I feel uncomfortable providing payments outside the platform and if I knew about this in advance of our stay, probably wouldn't have made the booking. When we arrived, the bed was not made up, while we used the sofa bed downstairs and don't have an issue making up the bedding for that, we also had to make up the bedding for the main bed.

Features! Very nice kitchen and facilities. Everything was really nice and enjoyable.

Random noises happened throughout the day/night. Still not sure what it was, though I assume it was the water heater or something. Very loud and odd.
