Oceanview at Brickfield

The property was everything we needed, plus a great location with a lovely view.

The only thing that would have made it better, would be to have drapes in the lounge area.

The house was lovely, a great space, lots of room and all the mod cons you could need plus an amazing view (photographed)! Bed was very comfy and the water pressure was excellent. Check in was very easy, the door was open and the key on a table just inside for my arrival. Lovely location just outside of Hokitika. The apartment is a guest suite attached to the owners house, but I was barely aware of other people during my stay so if you are looking for a quiet retreat don't be put off by this!

Unfortunately the house was very cold and the heaters in the bedroom and lounge didn't do much to change the temperature! However, there were plenty of cosy blankets including electric blankets on the bed plus I run hot so it didn't affect me hugely after the initial shock. I'm sure it would be fine in the warmer months but I happened to be there in September!

This place is amazing! Such a sweet, unique space and a lovely view down to the sea. Spacious, clean and comfortable for 2. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden at sunset.
