Oceanview at Brickfield

We loved our one night stay. Although a little distance away from Central Hokitika, the location was peaceful, private, secure and elevated, with great views. The layout is a little quirky, but the unit had everything you could possibly need and represented excellent value for money. The shower pressure was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

A couple of the doors need a bit planed off the bottom but this didn't cause an issue at all. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations based on the price.

A private and comfortable stay in a quiet location. Handy to the town Centre and Hokitika Gorge. The bed was really comfortable and there was space to park safely in the driveway. It was nice to have a spacious little lounge with a few books and games to enjoy.

It would have been helpful to receive a message with information prior to our for our stay including how to get in and a welcome book with some helpful info about the house and area. The space seemed incomplete - the towel rail wires weren't connected to power and the bathroom door didn't have locks or close firmly. Even though the space was neat and tidy, it seemed that it wasn't checked often as there was no coffee or tea in containers and a couple of bulbs had blown.

Everything was perfect. It's a cute little apartment that's really private with an amazing view. Really quiet and perfect to read and relax! I found the property better than the pictures.

Lovely view through some native trees and veg towards Hokitika. Very quiet location a few km from Hokitika township on an established residential road. The deck and quirky staircase to the garden.
