This was the worst experience I’ve had. The property manager, Lilly, was rude, unhelpful, and seemed more interested in charging extra than providing a decent stay. I booked for two weeks expecting basic accommodations, but it was a complete disappointment. Essentials were practically nonexistent—just a couple of rolls of toilet paper hidden in a kitchen cabinet, with no starter supplies.
For a short stay, this might be tolerable, but for two weeks, especially with guests from overseas, basic amenities should be provided. My previous stay, just a 7-minute walk from here, was a completely different experience—the host there had airport pickup, essentials stocked, even a welcome bottle of wine, and detailed instructions for everything. I only wish that apartment had been available for my booking.
Here, there were almost no supplies—no laundry detergent, no paper towels, no coffee except for Turkish coffee (which couldn’t even be made since the pot didn’t work with the induction stove, which Lilly blamed on me). The kitchen supplies were dirty, and not even a single Nespresso capsule was provided to start.
No instructions were given for the TV, washer, or anything else. I had to call a friend just to get the TV working because the receiver was hidden, and Lilly was unresponsive and unfriendly throughout.
The shower drain was clogged. Lilly promised to arrange cleaning in a week, but no one ever came. She texted later about a cleaner at an inconvenient time while my sick daughter was sleeping, but she never offered to reschedule, leaving us to handle it all ourselves.
The washing machine was filthy and didn’t work. Lilly insisted on a switch in the hallway, which I tried, but it still didn’t work. She later sent a photo of it supposedly working, meaning she entered the apartment without permission, again blaming me for the problem.
The internet was too slow to work, adding to the frustration.
If the owner reads this, they should seriously consider new management.
