This Japanese house was just how we like it - with futon and Tatami. The outdoor bathing facility was fantastic and we are thrilled at the drying function of the washing machine. Bikes are free to use and it was beautiful to take a ride around on a sunny morning!

Close to the highway (main drag). The cars and motorbikes passing by drove me nuts the first night, but I got used to it later. Suggest anyone with light sleeps to use earplugs! A bit of walk to Kyoto station but we don’t mind it.
