Beautifully designed hotel in a perfect location for shopping, bars and ferry.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the cottage we stayed in was gorgeous and well maintained.

The breakast was quite limited, and the various restrictions on what you could and could not select was frustrating.

The location, staff, and food are the best things about this resort. Located right in the middle of all the action, guests can take advantage of all Bequia has to offer. The staff are friendly and willing to help (although, occasionally, they need to be asked a few times for an issue to be addressed).

The property is extremely dated--stained sheets, broken toilet, no hot water, paint peeling, rust on furniture, dirty dishes in room, etc. On our first night, our sea view room had stained sheets and did not have working wifi, TV, or room phone. We spoke to housecleaning and the front desk twice the next day before asking for management. Management attempted to address the issues that afternoon/evening, however, the phone could not be fixed and, consequently, we had to move to a new room. Despite 2 empty sea view rooms beside ours, we were told that our only option was a 3rd row garden room (with a view of the back of the rooms in the 2nd row). When we asked to be moved to one of the empty sea view rooms next to ours, we were advised that, because those rooms were expecting guests later that evening who had booked "months ago" (we did too) and "come here every regularly," we were the guests who would have to be downgraded. Because one of the higher priority guests in the sea view room next to our original room was only staying at the resort for 1 night, we were given the option to move from our original broken sea view room, to a garden room, and then to a different sea view room the next day. Because we were there to celebrate a birthday and were tired of moving from room to room and being inconvenienced, we declined and stayed in the 3rd row garden room for the remainder of our trip. On our 2nd day in the 3rd row garden room, one of the toilets stopped working. Fortunately, this new room had a 2nd bathroom, so we did not have to leave again. We advised the front desk of the issue, but no one came to fix it. Later that day (and the day before our departure), the hot water stopped working in both bathrooms. At that point we stopped complaining.

Great place and great staff.

Stray dogs are slightly annoying.

What an amazing place. The location is perfect and it is a truly special place to stay while on the island.
