Beautifully arranged new apartment , simple and functional, unfortunately the check in and host intereaction ruin the stay. I don’t understand why we need to meet the host and schedule check in at exact time , a keypad lock or box it’s much easier way ! We stay less then 12 hours in the unit , check in was a complete nightmare , host didn’t provide check in instructions prior check in time , host called on WhatsApp around check In time while I had no internet connection, the adress provided on booking.com has no street number intentionally , to show Iaşi city while the house is outside of Iaşi in village Șorogari . Navigation took us on random street number since it wasn’t listed on booking reservation and only after calling the host we received a pin with location, why wasn’t provided earlier if he knew adress is incorect on web? Party of four , 2 adults and 2 kids , newborn and two year old , we booked 2 adults online ,choose two bedroom apartment for that reason , assuming that kids can sleep in the 2 rooms provided, Host asked us how many are we total and charged us double for booking in cash threatening with booking cancelation , while booking.com has no cancelation policy and we would never receive a refund. Even if he choose to charge extra it’s fine just request through booking.com instead of demanding in cash and threatening, seems very cheesy, luckily we had some cash to satisfy host demands, gate works only if you have Romanian cell phone provider otherwise need to contact host to open it.
