Authentic Lofoten Rorbu

The host was really friendly and helpful and there immediately to help, when I had troubles with the key box. The cabin itself is beyond beautiful and hearing the seagulls and being so close to the water is wonderful. Everything was really comfortable. I would come back in a heartbeat. The kitchen is also nicely equipped and you can go on wonderful hikes that are close to the cabin.

Really the only thing that was difficult was that the previous guests seemed to have been there with a dog and the couch was full of dog hair. I LOVE dogs and have total understanding for a cuddle on the sofa but sadly I am allergic to them. So i had to vacuum the sofa and try to get rid of the hair (which was perfectly camouflaged ^^)

Cozy rurbu fully equipped in all you need (kitchenette, dishes, cooker, fridge, coffee maker, washing machine), with really nice scandinavian decor, separate bedroom, spacious bathroom. Free parking place behind the house. Shops located about 500 m to 1 km from the place. Great place to start Lofoten roadtrip, I highly recommend!

Spacious enough, with all necessary facilities except dishwasher. The quility of kitshenware is very low, it is ok if you do not intend to cook. All instructions were clear, no problems with check-in. The manager let us check-out later!

No black-out curtains!!! Impossible to sleep from 4 a.m. The dishes and pans need to be renewed(

the rorbu needs to be updated / kitchen facilities very basic / mattresses very old / shower head broke on first use and cabinet door was stuck. otherwise it's a very nice place - small but good enough. This Rorbu was hard to find or identify at first, the directions need to be updated.

A bit fishy smelly near a processing plant. Blind in the bedroom could be more effective
