L'accès à la piscine. Espace bien entretenu. La disposition de l'hébergement. La localisation de l'hébergement.

Nous avons été surpris par la presence de nuisibles : souris, cafards par exemple. J'ai trouvé qu'il manquait des éléments de cuisine : grosse casserole, une fauteuil plus convivial à l'intérieur par exemple. Également la literie faisait vieillot. Pas de quoi se couvrir la nuit même un drap. Pour ce prix, je dirai que ça allait (2 adultes et 2 enfants) mais pour un établissement de type 3 étoiles je dirai non. Les commodités sont à revoir.

"okay... French-style laid-back without frills"

Friendly reception by Cedric who showed us around. Carrefour Contact at the edge of town is excellent for groceries.

It's ok: pretty basic, French-style laid back. Yes, it has a double bed and 2 single beds but it's one big space so no real privacy. The airconditioning only really worked well for downstairs: it took 8 hours of turbo to cool down the upstairs space with the double bed to 23 degrees so you go to bed sweating. Insects enter freely through the shower windows which are always open for ventilation but without bug screen. The pool is just big enough to cool down in, not for swimming or playing. Vauclin as a town is run-down. The streets are narrow, dirty, littered with overflowing garbage containers and car wrecks. Not the place where you would want to go for an after dinner walk. Very few places to eat so prepare to do some cooking or drive. The kitchen has a decent range of utensils. The beach was covered in sargassum when we were there and the smell of rotten eggs is noticeable everywhere, so again no evening stroll along the beachfront. The owner cannot help that but you need a car to go to nicer areas on the island for sunbathing and swimming. Free parking! You are about a 45 minutes' drive from most interesting places on the island so not too bad and car.rental was efficient and reasonably priced.

"The owner of property is misleading customs with booking, pictures showing room is not what you get."

Breakfast was good, location was not what we expect.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally address an issue we encountered during our recent stay at your hotel. We had booked 2 bedrooms with 3 beds for 5 nights, as confirmed in our correspondence with your hotel. However, when one of our guest who have arrived first, she informed that the arrangement was changed to one large bed and two single beds. Instead, we were provided with one bedroom and two bunk beds located in the kitchen and living area, which was not as described. she stayed for only one night and subsequently requested a refund due to the significant discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered. Also explained that we are age of 60s cant claim to bunk bed. The owner agreed to this request at that time. After returning home, both my friend and I, attempted to contact the owner via email regarding the refund. bookings email him as well. Unfortunately, he has not responded to our messages and has denied the existence of the bunk beds, despite the clear misrepresentation of the accommodation. Additionally, he has retained $456 of our payment, despite the fact that we did not receive the accommodations we originally booked. We believe this situation is unfair and misleading to customers, and we would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. We kindly request a full refund for our stay, as the services provided were not in line with what was promised.
