The breakfast was very good, homemade with excellent local products. The presence of air conditioning in the room. The 24/7 availability of the two guys, Shofike and the other one whose name I can't remember. They helped us a lot, especially when we arrived and when we left, taking us to the jetty for Malè at 6:30 AM.

I feel sorry to write this review because the two guys running this place deserve a 10+ for their effort, but reviews are here to help travelers book the right place to stay, and this place is a humble and basic one, which does not deserve more than a 5. I didn't book this place because it was cheap – it wasn't. I booked it because of the reviews, which I now really can't understand after being here. The property is very humble, and I don’t have an issue with that, but the photos are misleading and give false expectations to those who book. It seemed like I had booked a room with a balcony, but all the rooms are on the ground floor and open onto an inner garden. If you want some privacy, you need to keep the curtains closed, which means there’s never any natural light in the room. I am used to showering with very hot water, even when it’s 30°C outside. The water is warm, but it never gets truly hot. I went scuba diving and came back cold, and not being able to take a piping hot shower was unpleasant. You’d better hope it doesn’t rain during the night. I don’t know what material the roof is made of, but it sounded like there was an incredible storm. The noise was absurd! I went outside to check, and it was quieter—it was just normal rain 😅. I didn’t sleep for two nights because of the racket. The towels (I had read a review from a year ago about this) were stained. Clean, yes, but if you’re paying €440 for four nights, those towels shouldn’t be there 😅. For practically the same price and less, I could have stayed in a proper hotel and not in a place like this. The photos and reviews tricked me! Again, I could have given a 10 like others, but that wouldn’t be an honest evaluation. If you want to run a business like this, you need to meet the standards to justify charging nearly the same as other properties.

The stuff was friendly and welcoming, and food was delicious. They also offer dinner options, along with exciting excursions that include snorkeling and rental for masks and fins. Higly recommended, we can't wait to return!

The staff treated us with respect and went above and beyond to make sure we had a trip to remember! From the initial comms to the way we were greeted upon arrival and departure and everything in between! The meals were delicious and made to the standards you would make for a family member, and they were lovely enough to cater to our dietary requirements (including a plant-based diet). They brought us out on incredible tours to visit marine life taking into account everyone's varied preferences. We felt safe during the tours and our captain for those boat tours went above and beyond to keep us safe out there. He knew where everyone was at any given time and even redirected other boats away from us. They made us feel so special and were warm and kind.
