Matilde Valletta Suites

Awesome hosts with a personal connection to the place. Room and building were nicer than expected. Location was great: it’s an alley, but one that’s so unique that tourists stand at the top and take pictures.

If you want to sleep before 11:00, it’s hard because of local bars as they keep the music going and the base penetrates the flat. The hosts provide complimentary ear plugs. On the other hand, there are friendly bars of your choice right outside the door.

De locatie was echt top. Perfect om Malta te ontdekken. Centraler in Valletta kan je niet zitten en vlak bij de high speed ferry naar Gozo, water taxi's en het busstation. Ook de kamer en badkamer waren ruim en netjes. Veel opbergruimte. De e eigenaars waren erg gezellig en behulpzaam.

Er viel niets tegen. Het ontbijt was beperkt maar voldoende om de dag te starten. Oploskoffie of thee was leuk geweest bij de waterkoker.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable room. Modern decor but warm and welcoming. The hosts Maria and Roberto were lovely, they added a personal touch to our stay and couldn't do enough to ensure all our needs were met. The location was right in the middle of Valletta so vibrant and lively. This was just what we wanted for our short stay but once in our room you could hardly hear anything. Easy access for routes out to explore Malta. Perfect stay for us. 😊

We loved everything but something to be mindful of is there are many steps throughout Valletta and also up to the room. Was fine for us but might not suit someone who has difficulty with steps

The location was superb. Just to note that there are bars right under some of the rooms so the noise is audiable. But there were earplugs available in the room for more comfortable stay. The room was also spacious and clean with everything one might need. But the best part was our hosts. They made us feel very comfortable and took really great care of us. We had really good coffee, fresh pastrys and great chats in the morning.

Our stay at Matilde Suites was truly exceptional.The apartment is located in a beautiful historic building, just a 3-minute walk from all the main attractions of Valletta, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The view from the balcony overlooking the see and the beautiful street was amazing. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, The towels smelled beautiful. Each morning we enjoyed Italian-style breakfasts with delicious coffee and freshly baked croissant. The owners Maria and Roberto were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests.

Excellent location, clean, friendly owners who were there at breakfast.

Like an Airbnb, no reception. Breakfast very limited. Cold in room at night in Feb. No natural light in our room. No cleaning of room during stay.

Roberto e Maria sono due persone gentilissime e disponibili. Le camere pulitissime, posizione eccezionale per visitare tutti i punti di interesse. Tutto fantastico! Straconsigliato!
