"Good"

Ramesh was a great host and really friendly. Keen to chat and hang out, bit also happy to leave us alone when we were planning. The location is perfect for the town. Right in the heart, but also tucked away so guests can enjoy the quiet and isolation.

Unfortunately, when we came to leave we couldn't find Ramesh to say goodbye, so we left to the bus stop. While we were trying to find the stop Ramesh arrived on his motorbike upset with us that we had left without paying. We had completely forgotten and were very embarrassed and we would have offered a little extra as an apology and for the inconvenience of coming after us, but instead he invented a 200 rupee fee to use the kitchen. During our stay he had invited us to be free to use the kitchen so we did. He did not mention that it would cost at any point. We were very sorry about forgetting to pay, but unhappy with the attempt to nearly double the room cost with this extra charge.

The hostel is situated right in the middle of town. Perfectly situated. It has just reopened after COVID situation. The bedrooms are simple but for this price, you cannot find any better than that! The owner is very nice and helpful. I was a bit sick and he helped me to buy some food to recover! The wifi is strong and quick!
