Appartamento Green Room

Since years, we are traveling all over Europe a couple of times per year for holidays and rock concerts - and our short stay at Appartamento Green Room deffo made it to our TOP 10. We loved the apartment even its just one room incl. a kitchenette - but it needs to be mentioned that everything was clean, the kitchenette was well equipped and the bed was very comfy. Antonella, an entirely passionate and kind host, on top provided chilled drinks, food and sweets - what else can you ask for when you hit Sicily after a long flight and you not immediately want to go to the supermarket on the day of your arrival. Tbh its great to have a host who is always available when you have a question! We liked the garden and the bench with the spectacular view of the rock. Provided free parking (for a small car) felt like a lottery win.

The bath room is a tad small and the shower is not too big, but it worked for us (even for me with 6.3 ft)

Good quality toilet paper. Host was helpful.

Sink leaked everywhere. Toilet flush didn't work half of the time. The shower was almost unserviceable. There was too much stuff everywhere taking up space that we could have used to put down our things. Surfaces that were out of sight hadn't been cleaned. Getting in and out of the parking space required very precise manoeuvres (and it wasn't even a large car). The garden didn't look well maintained.

The hosts were very friendly and picked us up by car. The accommodation is very clean, the view is idyllic and in a quiet location. Toiletries, water and basic groceries were provided by the hosts.

Our hosts, Antonella and Antonio, are a wonderful and kind couple. Thanks to them, our anniversary with my Love was fantastic. The Green Room apartment is a fairytale cottage that immediately enchanted us. We felt very at home there. We received some ingredients for free so that we could cook a cooked meal for ourselves, and we also received snacks, coffee and chilled soft drinks in the fridge. For all this, they did not accept tips. We told them, that we would like to go shopping in a supermarket, and Antonio offered to take us with his car and show us around the city. So he also took us on a mini city tour. One night, we happened to meet them in a cafe in the city and they didn't let us pay for our consumption. They paid the bill. In addition, on our last day, they helped us get to the airport too. We have never met such a nice couple before! It was a great feeling for us to experience the hospitality of the Italian people. Antoinella and Antonio are so welcoming and hospitable, they really cared about us having a wonderful stay with them. We loved our little apartment, cycling around beautiful sferracavallo, walking to the water every night for sunset. We left so relaxed and I hope we get so stay again some day! The apartment has everything you need in a nice quiet location and a beautiful view of the mountain from the garden.
