Kapelludden Östra Öland

Att trappan var så brant upp till andra sovummet blev lite jobbigt för den ena av oss med sin hund som kom upp men inte ner av egen fri vilja, vi hade inte förstått att trappan var så brant helt enkelt.

Trivsamt o mysigt.

Saknade en pärm med info om boendet, t ex hur låset och Tv funkar, info om sevärdheter i närheten och service som närmsta livsmedelsaffär m m. Vi listade ut det mesta men info är alltid trevligt och förenklar vistelsen.

Underbart område.

Hyggelige og rolige omgivelser.

Faciliteter og udstyr i køkkenet virkede lidt tilfældige og halvdårlige. Der var mangler. Et vindue på 1.sal var i fare for at blæse ud. Dårlig belysning i stuen.

Easy acces. Nice quiet location.

The property was far from what was described in the listing. The kitchen was not "well-equipped" as claimed, and the ventilation was so poor that simply boiling eggs left the entire cabin damp and clammy. There was also no proper ventilation in the bathroom, which caused humidity and discomfort after each shower. On top of this, the accommodation had a persistent musty, heavy smell—similar to mold—which made the air unpleasant throughout the stay. I later saw that other guests had commented on the same issue, which makes it clear this is not an isolated experience. Most seriously, the pull-out bed beneath the sofa was in a dangerously poor condition. While sleeping on it, the wooden frame underneath collapsed due to rot, causing my upper body to fall directly onto the floor. This is not only unacceptable but a serious safety hazard.
