USUSUSWe went up for a weekend in the snow. Everything was fully stocked and equipped very well. It was cozy and we had Everything we needed in order to not leave all weekend. The fireplace was everything as we watched the snow fall. We also traveled with several children ages 8 to 17 they all had plenty to do. Even the driveway made a good hill to play in the snow. They replied quickly to any concerns we had. It was a great stay would definitely book again.
The room where the ping pong table was really cold it was in the garage but we did go on a really cold weekend so it was understandable. Everything else was great.
USIt was really nice and clean. I loved how beautiful the cabin is and the outdoor overlook of the mountains.The hot tub was awesome as well.
The dryer was horrible. It took like 4 spins everytime to get laundry dried.All the beds are hard as rocks, and technically its only a 4 bedroom. One room is a loft, and there is a couch in the gameroom. The gameroom is in the garage and is always freezing. There is only one outdoor garbage can, apparently there is a place you are supposed to haul extra garbage too once the can is full.(I wasnt made aware of this)

The smoke detectors weren't connected or have batteries. The stairs railing to the basement was loose.

Some appliances need updating (no ice maker), dryer doesn’t dry large loads and needed to be run twice as long, cabinet door off hinges, lighting could be better (lots of burned out bulbs).

USThe location and the amenities. Everything is absolutely excellent! Nothing that the host/owner can control. Our first day was hit with blackout. There was no backup generator, therefore, no water since the pump had to be powered by electricity. There's no candles, flashlights, or extra water for emergency situations such as blackout. Fortunately, there's more than enough firewood. We made the best of the firewood for heat and brightness.
Maybe provide a backup storage of flashlights, candles, and extra water within reach .....only when necessary for guests. Again, these are nice to have since the cabin has everything we ever need. We even decorated to make it more festive. Will come back and stay sgsin. Thank you, Alex. Nancy
USThis cabin was perfect for our family. The location is perfect. It sits atop the mountain w/ beautiful views. If ice or snow were an issue, a 4-wheel drive might be needed to scale the very steep driveway. Plenty of space for our family of 7 (mostly adults). Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the wood burning fireplace!! Close proximity to Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska. The host was excellent to work with after some hiccups with the booking site, she worked directly with me to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
The basement bedroom was hard to heat. There is a space heater down there but didn't seem to do the job when the temperatures dropped. It would have been nice to have a few extra blankets to wrap up in.
