Peaceful and well managed everything

Very nice apartment, towels and bedding provided & friendly hosts

There were issues that hadn't previously been reported to the hosts, such as a loose door handle and blocked sink. Also the cups, bowls and spoons provided looked dirty and clearly hadn't been washed properly

Where do i begin…? I arrived at 3.45 and was greeted by a rude cleaner(short red hair)having a cigarette and chatting away to the other cleaner…who almost shouted at me,and asked “what are u doing here?”,”can i help?”in a very rude manner,coz i simply interrupted her chit chatting to a coleague…she just said “flat is not ready yet”and continue to chatting away and smoking,meantime doing “faces”to her coleague.No apology,nothing.She then said that the flat will be ready in 20mins,coz they waiting for the washing machine to finish,when u said that the flat should be ready for 3,coz that when the check in starts,she didnt seem to be bothered and said that they running late,coz its their 3rd flat today,and 1st time cleaning in this flat and she doesnt know anything bout the check in,still no apology… When i said that i should be aware of the fact that flat will not be ready on time,ahe then replied”i dont have ur nb”….i told her she should have contacted the owners and they should contact me thru booking.com,she wasnt bothered about that either and still no apology and still doing ignorant faces while talking to me…. After 10mins they went back in,spent there another 20mins(probs on chit chatting again),after 20mins the left and said i can go in,but they need to come back in 20mins to collect the washing…at that point i was well annoyed and the redheaded cleaner asked me with a smirk on her face”if thats ok to come back?”…20 mins after 2nd cleaner collected the washing and was very apologetic for the whole situation(never mind no apology from the redheaded). On top of that when i entered the main bathroom there was a fresh pee on a toilet seat,so had to clean it myself. Half of the towels smelt of cigarettes and the other half of damp,so had to eash them straight away. Bedding had yellow stains. Pubes in the 2nd toilet,dont think it was even cleaned.

Good sized apartment with a big fully functional kitchen. Nearby are several shops and supermarkets as well not being too far from the town centre. Near a busy main road but it was quiet. Two bathrooms is also a bonus as far as my wife is concerned. Not difficult to find.

The ensuite bathroom is so tiny that you have to, what I felt, be creative to use it. The main bathroom's tub has been installed the wrong way round so the shower head is at the base of the tub. This makes taking a shower more difficult than it should. The neighbours above weren't exactly quiet. This is mostly down to the building's construction and it was mostly moving around and closing draws. The weekend however they were a lot louder playing music and shouting. Again I wonder if this was in part down to the building's construction in that having some form of sound proofing may have lessened this.

Property was clean and spacious!

The property stated 2 sofa beds but these were in fact just 2 sofas. That weren't big enough unless you put them together. Which means only 1 person could stay on them not 2.
