The property is situated in a beautiful and serene area.It offers comfort and adventure,all on the same establishment. The hosts are amazing and customer centric. The property is child friendly and everyone makes sure the children are comfortable.

The accommodation is well appointed and rustic but with every amenity you would need. The hosts are super people and they went above and beyond during our stay

The hosts were extremely helpful and attended to our needs when the weather turned our braai plans upside down. The location was exactly what we wanted with a view of the river and the whole atmosphere was great. Love that our pets will be able to go with on our next visit. If one wants an exclusive and private stay at an affordable rate this is a beautiful option. Our stay was very short, we will have an extended stay soon to experience the activities on the premises.

We were blessed with a very rainy evening in the bush cottages, where our braai rained out as the rain penetrated the firepit, but our hosts were very hospitable and accommodated us in the lodge kitchen and dining area. It also rained into the cottage a little on one of the beds but not on one we needed so it was no issue but should be attended to.

Water struggles

The peace and quiet. And the friendly dogs. Overall we had a nice stay.

We had no view from our patio, our view was our braai. Maybe a afdakkie or two at the plaasdam pool

Fantastic nature peaceful with great river view. Bonus was the fireflies!

The fridge behind the door

We upgraded to the Thandile Country Lodge and WOW what a great place! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and our farm style cottage was cosy and well equipped. It’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the horse riding, fishing and beautiful surroundings. It’s a fantastic getaway spot.
