Great house, wonderful view, very nice host! We like everything.

Problems with closing doors from the terrace and lack of WIFI.

They cancelled us last minute so there is not much to say.

Do not reserve this apartment. We reserved it for 2 nihgts for 270,00 EUR. Owner did not respond to any email via Booking, calls, messages also not not on a day to rent an apartment. Therefore we have to make a reservation of another aparment. Since the owner did not respond I want a refund from Booking. And answer from Booking is that they are sorry, that the owner does not respond to their contacts either, that we should contact an owner directly to get a refund. And all that Booking can do is that they can give us 25 eur voucher. Regarding a reaction of Booking we need to lodge a claim for a refund and reimburistment.

The apartment is in a good location—right where the Catania bus drops you off. Although you have to go down a somewhat challenging set of stairs, the view is absolutely perfect. We could see rainbows every day, as well as the sunrise and sunset. The main shopping street is also quite close, and there's a supermarket nearby.

However, the facilities in the apartment are a bit outdated. On winter nights, the wind by the seaside is very strong. Last night, the wind suddenly blew the door open and scattered our belongings—it was terrifying to wake up to in the middle of the night. Both the terrace door and the bedroom door don't close properly, and there’s a noticeable draft. This makes it very cold near the seaside in winter and caused us to lose sleep. I’d suggest the landlord get these fixed soon. Also, you need WhatsApp to arrange self-check-in. Otherwise, like me, you'll have to make a phone call and wait in the cold wind for the property manager to come and help you find the right way.

La struttura ha grandi potenzialità ma abbiamo riscontrato molti difetti che hanno reso non pienamente soddisfacente il soggiorno: - le porte finestre che davano all'esterno non si chiudevano, costituendo un pericolo per la nostra sicurezza - la struttura veniva descritta con 3 stanze e un soggiorno, quando invece il terzo letto, o meglio divano letto, si trovava nel soggiorno - un condizionatore non funzionava (e faceva freddo) - è scattata la corrente con due soli condizionatori accesi - è stata richiesta la fattura che non è mai pervenuta, pur essendo sollecitata - il letto di una camera non era stabile

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment, but one bedroom was locked behind a closed door. The owner was unapologetic and said there was nothing they can do about it

Apartmán se nachází kousek od centra , v klidné , tiché uličce. Je obklopené zelení a z jeho oken a teras je vidět moře, velkou část pobřeží , kopce a hory . I když je obývací pokoj prostorný, světlý, pohodlně a vkusně zařízený, nejraději jsme sedávali na terase s okouzlujícím výhledem. Také vířivka na druhé terase, je příjemným místem k relaxaci. Komunikace s Mariel byla dokonalá, před příjezdem i během našeho pobytu. Děkujeme za rady a tipy kam zajít v Taormině a okolí i za láhev dobrého vína. Taormina je nádherné , historické město , které jsem navštívila více krát a určitě přijedu znova. Na Bookingu si opět vyberu apartmá DIMORA DISIU , které je jedno z nejlepších v kterém jsem byla na Sicílii ubytována.
