Waterside Holiday House

We stayed in July and the fireplace kept the house warm and created a great ambience. The house had everything we needed. Great location.We will visit again.

It is well situated and within easy walking distance of the beach , river and the village.

The drawers in the kitchen did not close easily and were tricky to close sometimes. The daylight saving globes outside the front and back bedrooms shine all night making it very light in the bedrooms . Consider moving the lights to another position of the house and not directly in front of the bedrooms.

Well equipped house with everything you can think of ie: Air Fryer, Ice Machine, Weber braai etc. Spacious and very comfortable. 2 outside areas. Walking distance from shops, lovely restaurants, lagoon and the beach. Enjoyed the cozy, warm fireplace in the lounge area.

I wish there was a fire place to warm up , Bathrooms are always wet , should have ventilation fans ( suction ) to remove humidity , Kitchen needs a suction fan to remove odors , House is soaked wet/damped , keeping cold all times , It's freezing especially in bedrooms , My wife got lungs infection due to cold and lack of sufficient heating , Electric heaters not enough to keep warm , Extra blankets not helpful either , Can't open doors/windows with no screens installed , Lots of insects around corners everywhere inside house ,

Location, willingness of host to secure garden for dogs as the property was not secure

No tv services on first night, no salt, towels way to small, only two towels, no bed sheets, had to clean all glasses. cups, cutlery and counter tops.
