Cadre magnifique, éloigné dans la montagne. Un coucher de soleil éblouissant. Un accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires, du personnel et surtout du chef Kumar. Le chef Kumar nous a cuisiné les meilleurs repas jamais mangés. Digne d’un restaurant étoilé. Nous recommandons.

La camera era bella e anche l hotel, colazione buona e abbondante.

Non ci è per niente piaciuto il sevizio ricevuto. Arrivati ci hanno offerto un succo (cosa comune in tutti gli hotel / guest house in Sri Lanka) e appena finito ci hanno chiesto di pagare subito le 2 notti, cosa non gradita perché in tutti gli hotel, compresi quelli Srilankesi, ci viene chiesto sempre alla fine del soggiorno. Proviamo a pagare ma il Pos non va… 30 minuti persi per provare a pagare. Il giorno del check out non andava ancora il POS e abbiamo dovuto perdere quasi 1h per trovare una banca e prelevare contanti, dovevamo andare ad Arugam Bay che era nella direzione opposta. In una struttura come questa non ci aspettavamo minimamente questo disagio, anche perché è la più costosa in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Sri Lanka. Il servizio ristorante molto basico, un menu con soli 6 piatti di cui la maggior parte non c erano nemmeno, e potevano scegliere solo tra un pollo e un pesce. E costava 4 volte tanto rispetto a ristoranti locali di Haputale, e il cibo non era migliore. La colazione però buona e abbondante. Ci è sembrato un hotel che vuole essere di lusso ma ancora non ci riesce. Tornassimo indietro non avremmo soggiornato qui. Nella descrizione dell’hotel c era scritto che era possibile affittare biciclette a pagamento ma questo servizio non veniva offerto.

We had wonderful stay at the place. The surrounding settings of the hotel is hilly and it was blessed with super view. Room is vary spacious and nicely laid to have maximum benifit of the view. Amazing fusion food with varry attentive staff. Every one there to help you with smile. They set out our dinner at outside terrece. Vary Romantic. We will come back again soon once we finish our round trip.

The food is very good and the views are amazing. This place could be amazing but there were too many problems for it to be worth the money. There are better options around.

We turned up and the WiFi was not working, the TV subscription had not been paid, the pool was dirty and we couldn’t use it and the fridge did not work. Chef Kumar worked his socks off to fix all these problems but all this led to a very poor first day after a long journey. Chef Kumar is not the manager but just someone who is willing to help. The management took no responsibility for their failings. On the last day we had no water. There is a sign up showing it is a ‘small luxury hotel’. This is not the case.
