Taormina Boutique Rooms

Our stay here in Taormina was excellent! The location is fantastic due to being situated at the end of the main shopping street and most attractions were within a short walking distance. Despite the central location, the shutters in the room helped to eliminate street noise at night. The room was nice and modern and had everything we needed. The balcony was really special and we felt like we were living in luxury sitting there people watching! Check in/out was simple and Daniela was a great host and very informative. The B&B is quite hard to find but the staff at the gelateria were helpful. Breakfast is based in the gelateria below and was fine for our stay. If you don't like a sweet breakfast (pastries, cakes and granita) then perhaps find a cafe to eat at instead.

We heard quite a lot of noise from the rooms next door (even quiet conversations!). Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. The floor was quite dirty and the pillows were too soft.

Way smaller than it looks and right next to the main road, which makes it super loud until late and from early in the morning.

Great location, close to the center of Taormina and bus terminals/cable car down to the beach. Rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. As a nice addition there is a blackout shutters and double glazing that helps to reduce the noise and the light from outside! The host is very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for the restaurants and bars.

Nothing about our room but other guests were chatting loudly in the corridor early in the morning.

The location is absolutely perfect, and the room and bathroom is nicely furnished. It is good value for money in a town which is very expensive to stay

As mentioned in other reviews the sound proofing is not good; you can hear clearly in to the corridor and adjoining rooms. We also never met the host; all communication is done via WhatsApp, or with the employees in the Gelateria below the apartments, which is unconventional

The best about this place was the location, near the funicular and round the corner of porta di Messina

You could hear everything from the room next door

Perfect location, at the entrance of Taormina old town just next to Porta Messina. Excellent service for the private parking outside - the provided drop off and pick up. Loved the cappuccino and croissant breakfast at Don Diego next door at special rate. Good access also if you are leaving your car at Parking Lumbi and take the shuttle bus, bus stop just below the porta Messina
