Armadillo Living Villas

This condo in Playa Ropa Zihuatenejo is fantastic. It's large, clean, modern, and has a fantastic view of the beach with an infinity pool. We had an amazing time staying here. The apartment is nicely decorated, has its own dip pool on the spacious patio, and the views can't be beat. Walking to Playa Ropa is a few minutes away down a walkway and some steps, just be prepared for the walk back, it was fine for us as we are active, but might be too much for others. Las Gatas beach is also .6 miles away by scrambling over a somewhat rocky trail. But it is worth it. Taking a cab ride to board the ferry to Isla Ixtapa is only 15 minutes away. The infinity pool in the common area is a nice place to relax and cool off after exploring the area.

The stools inside for use on the island are not meant for this. They are too high and your legs do not fit under the island to eat any meal, which we would have preferred instead of eating on the couch, and eating outside on the patio is not an option since it is way too hot there. Also hot water runs out too quickly to take a shower. So get ready for a cold shower sometimes.

Great building and great unit, beautiful view. The property management company is very accommodating. We loved it and look forward to returning. Pls note several stairs to unit and hills nearby if you need to factor that in your consideration but there are also taxis
