George Street Apartment

Perfect place for a stay in Salisbury if you want to have something more independent and cheaper than a hotel with decent privacy.

Maybe cooking oil could have been useful but we left the one we bought there so hopefully that would last a while.

It's an adequate apartment which can sleep a family of 4. It's situated close enough to the high streets and has plenty of choice for food options whether it's takeaways, restaurants or shops to eat at home. The apartment was clean and simplified but had everything we needed for our stay. There is parking but we were unsure if we should park on the street which is permit parking between 8am to 6pm, luckily we left early enough and didn't get a ticket as the warden was making his way down as we were leaving. The welcome pack from the owners explaining how things worked.

A few minor items that can easily be rectified. The main door lock is a little stiff, we found pushing the door gently while turning the key helped unlock it The second door into the apartment, the handle would pull through when opening and closing it. Some of the windows were missing the lock or handles to be able to shut them and lock them. Finally it looked like there had been a quick repair to the wall in the bathroom and the filler hadn't dried fully. None of this really affected our stay and are minor things but they would help towards a better overall score.

It was cold there was no bedding for my son thee was pee on the toilet seat, boiler we had to work out parking was hard to get and road had loads of pothole, milk was just thrown in fridge and no commentar,The shower head was crap didnt work properly , on top of that we had to take our rubbish out,

Everything and my son didn't feel safe,He was very stress out and so was my husband.

Great location for City Centre, Station and surrounding attractions. Basic but perfect for what we needed. Couldn't fault it and owners prompt and pleasant. Parking was a really nice bonus.; right outside. Would most certainly use it again..)))

Hardly a deal breaker but I would really get 2 blackout blinds on the windows in kitchen...they're cheap and it would make a big difference as there is no kitchen door as such so the light streams through to the users of the (very large very excellent) sofa bed. That's all though...not bad at all..
