The accommodation has everything you need for a relaxed holiday.

We didn't liked the location, close to the beach by car not by foot when outside are over 35 degrees. The beach is about 15-20minutes maybe more if you have kids. Nothing around to have a dinner or lunch, unless you go 10-15 minutes driving and find restaurants fully booked. We cooked mostly at home and at the end of our stay we've found out that the host watching CCTV 👀 as proof of not compliance with the garbage disposal sortage (sending pictures from CCTV) and threatening us with Police . CCTV is for safety not to watch out your guests for the garbage reason I'll say. First of all his rules was sent in private not on booking and states about 100e fine. Our garbage was collected and just because we left few mixed garbage left overs put in one bag, the host wanted to be smart to charge us. I see one more review same . The cleaner also put it all garrbage in one bag. I will recommend in the future the host to add all comments into booking portal, also about his own rules on important information just to not make confusion for future guests. I would definitely not going back.

Close to the beach Friendly host

Gepflegte, ordentliche Unterkunft. Ruhig gelegen, der nächste Strand ist fussläufig in etwa 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Aufmerksamer, hilfsbereiter, gastfreundlicher Vermieter.

The place is spacious and has great location - quiet and close to a nice beach (seems like on the island there are only nice, great or amazing beaches). There is a good beach equipment, the place is clean, check in was easy. All other equipment is not very new, but works fine.

The major thing that ruined the vacation mood, especially at the end of our stay was the experience with the host. From the beginning there was a lot of pressure put on garbage segregation (which is totally fine of course) - we segregated all the garbage according to the provided guide (in the guide you can also find an information that if you do not do that, you will be fined 100 Euro). What was not written there was that we were supposed to leave the bins every day early in the morning at the gate. As we didn't know that (there was just a garbage calendar left near a tiny tv - if you miss it, you are the bad guy) and most of our garbage was generated at the end of the stay, we segregated them and put everything into corresponding bins. This turned out to be nearly a crime and the host threatened to fine us for that. The other thing was the final inspection - the checkout was at 10am but the day before we were informed that the inspection will be at 9am (so in fact we needed to be ready for the checkout an hour earlier). We said we will be ready but at 10am. This apparently triggered the host and we started arguing over whatsapp. The next day the employee came to inspect us around 9:30. She checked everything, including counting all knives and forks in the kitchen (I felt a bit more like a suspect rather than a guest) - as everything was ok, she moved on to check the bins. This is where it turned out we were supposed to leave the bins every day. She was suprised, took care of the garbage but did not make a lot of fuss about it to us. I thought it was not a huge issue, but turned out that for the host it was such a problem that he wanted to fine us. That was the worst host experience I have ever had. Smaller things: no dishwasher/hand soap or paper towels. Washing machine veeery close to the toilet. WiFi works very slow sometimes.

We were a group of 20 coming for hiking in North Sardinia. Our group occupied all 5 cottages and it suited our hiking trip very well. Good location - easy to reach many places by car from there, and not far from the sea (5-10 minutes walk), shops and restaurants (less than 10 minutes drive). The cottages were clean, well equipped and fully corresponding to the description. The host was very friendly, very responsive, and hospitable. He quickly arranged additional bed linen when we discovered that we made a mistake during booking; and he arranged additional warm blankets which we asked because of cold nights.

We liked pretty much everything. However, we came in March when the weather is still cold and we only walked to beach once. If you come in summer time, the distance to the beach may be uncomfortable for some - be prepared for ~5-10 minutes walk.

Accommodation is older but sufficient. Meets exactly as described in the offer. The owner responds very quickly and tries to help when needed. However, he is very strict and does not accept any criticism - you can see this about the reactions in the reviews 😊 Be very careful with the waste sorting. Read carefully what to sort where as it may be slightly different than in your country. This will prevent unpleasant discussions at the end of your stay.

The outside terrace is nice and we used the grill there a lot. The owner Maurizio was very helpful and communicative. The overall experience was nice and we enjoyed our stay. We had a lot of plans all around the northern Sardinia so we used the appartment more as a base of operations than a place to stay the whole time.

There was very little room in the closets and drawers to put your belongings in, so we left most of ours in our suitcases. The washing machine was a great help, but is situated too close to the toilet for comfort. A dishwasher would be a great improvement too. The biggest disappointment is the local beach. The water is full of some seaweed or leaves and the nearby lagoon is a source of rather foul smell. If you go further along the beach though, you can't smell it anymore. If you are ok to drive a bit and mostly stay at some of the famous San Teodoro beaches to the north, then you can ignore this part.
