Novecento Country House

From the moment we arrived at Novecento Country House, we felt transported into a hidden oasis of calm. The drive up is already magical – surrounded by lush nature, with the distinctive sound of cicadas during the day, gently giving way to the chirping of crickets after sunset. But what truly makes this place exceptional is Marco’s remarkable hospitality. You can feel his passion for this historic house in every detail. The way he shares its rich and fascinating history is captivating, and I honestly can’t wait for the book he’s writing to be published. It’s equally inspiring to hear about his future plans – from the nearly completed swimming pool to the idea of a cooking studio inspired by the film “Nonnas.” Adding to the charm is Marco’s own organic olive oil, produced in small batches without any pesticides or fertilizers. It’s not only a testament to his respect for nature but also absolutely delicious. The house itself is stunning: it feels like an elegant American country mansion, yet it’s nestled in the tranquil, wooded landscape of Puglia. Inside, you’ll find every modern comfort, including an excellent Starlink satellite internet connection that kept us perfectly connected when needed. A special mention goes to Marco’s two lovely dogs – especially sweet Loki (I hope I’ve spelled his name right!). He would occasionally visit us on the terrace, eager to both give and receive some extra affection, making us feel even more at home. This house has clearly captured the hearts of Marco and his family – and it’s easy to see why. Staying here was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our stay at Novecento’s was perfect. There was not a single day we did not enjoy. It was one of the few times where the photos you see online are true reflection of what the property looks like. We really liked our apartment, which was equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. We loved the interior and its vintage feel, and even more the outside area, which was perfect also for our children. Our daughter spent so much time outside playing with the animals, it was a great break from our city life. Above all, Marco was the perfect host. Always available to share tips and recommendations to make our holidays even more special. He would go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. I could go on and on with the list of things we enjoyed about our stay, but the above was definitely the highlight.

The only downside is that when the holiday is over, you dont want to leave ;)

Struttura ottima sotto tutti i punti di vista, ideale per chi vorrebbe passare qualche giorno in totale tranquillitá immerso nella natura. Personale professionale, molto accogliente e disponibile, anche per dei consigli sulle attivitá da svolgere sul posto.

Immersa nella natura, Novecento Country House offre ai visitatori un soggiorno in completo relax. Confinante con la suggestiva Foresta Umbra, se si è amanti della quiete è il posto giusto. Le stanze sono arredate con gusto ed in armonia con la location. Plus: letto molto comodo. Inoltre, perfettamente equidistante sia da Vieste che da Peschici, a meno di 10 minuti di auto dalla spiaggia di Scialmarino. Ps: la vista del cielo stellato di notte da lì è una meraviglia.

Beautiful location- surrounded by olive trees and woods. There are horses, chickens, and 2 friendly dogs on the property. It is a 10 minute drive through gorgeous countryside side to Vieste. The accommodations are very comfortable. The bed was great and the bathroom spacious. The shower was excellent (lots of hot water and great pressure). I used the kitchen which was very well equipped. There are multiple outdoor seating areas- all with garden or orchard/forest views. The hosts were very personable and helpful. They speak English and have lots of tips on where to go in the area.

Everything was great. After 5 nights, i did not want to leave!

Posto ed abitazione incantevoli, in piena natura ma a pochi minuti di auto da Vieste. Proprietari gentilissimi e comunicazione eccellente. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un soggiorno di qualità lontano dal caos della costa ma abbastanza vicino da goderne le bellezze quotidianamente.

Ottima posizione immersa nella tranquillità e nella natura ma a 10 min dalle spiagge più vicine, non ci si mette più di 20 min ad arrivare alle più belle spiagge del Gargano, punto strategico e accoglienza ottimale. Location eccezionale immersa nella natura la villa è fantastica e la presenza di animali, cavalli ed altro arricchisce l'esperienza. Adatto sia a famiglie che a coppie la villa è stupenda gli appartamenti sono differenti ed incontrano diversi gusti. Il Tutto Ben Curato!
