The house is very quiet. Close enough to the main road to be easily reachable, far enough to be quiet. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. For example: We arrived very shortly after a typhoon, so the supermarkets didn't have any fresh fruit (only bananas). When we mentioned this, the host bought fresh fruit for us some place else the very same day. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The place is only 20 minutes by car from Taroko NP, 25 minutes from the next bigger city (Hualien), though nothing is in walking distance. The host had many useful informations and tips for Taroko NP, regrettably because of the typhoon most hikes were closed.

Nothing really. Maybe a kettle in the room would have been nice, but hot water was always available in the breakfast area.

We stayed in a triple room which is very spacious, both the room and washroom. Bed is very comfortable. Though raining outside and humid, the room is dry and crisp. Host is very friendly and you can enjoy tea, coffee, snack at any time. The breakfast is delicious with fruit and vegetables.

The soundproof in 1F is terrible because the corridor makes loud echo.

Amazing service by the kind owner, who helped us with logistics, transport and information. Spacious rooms, very pleasant dining/common room, flexible breakfast times to suit our schedule.
