Smugglers Rock Cottages

The "one and only thing" that could have been better, only as you have asked for our feedback, was our showering experience. As, the existing "old rickety" Quadrant type shower enclosure really needs replacing with a "New" and "larger one", and at the same time, I would suggest fitting a New single lever easy to use type shower valve, to replace the existing old "temperature fluctuating" Mira Coda bar shower, which was a little too fiddly to operate.

Fabulous location. Such a beautiful cottage for 2 people, comfortable and fully furnished. Owners were available but not intrusive. Extra plus for us was the use of EV charge point. Has a lovely outside seating area.

The property was clean and spacious. Exactly what we needed for our holiday.

Excellent location for sightseeing and coastal walking

Cottage was lovely and clean. Midway between Whitby and Scarborough.

Limited to road walking with our two small dogs.

The location is absolutely stunning with far reaching views along the coast and the nature. The house has got everything one needs, it is very clean and fresh and it is cosily decorated. There are endless walking routes along the cost and the moors nearby. And not just any walks, with stunning views to the North Sea or in the open vastness of the beautiful moors. The cultural offer, the museums and attractions of Scarborough, Whitby and other places nearby are plenty and easily reachable by car. This is a perfect place for relaxation for the whole family. We can warmly recommend this hidden jewel.

Gorgeous property with everything you would need to make a home from home. Loved the fact that I could charge my EV up on site. Any property where dogs are welcome is a bonus too.

Nothing to dislike

Stunning location, very quiet and relaxing at night, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage is maintained to a high standard, with an unusual but excellent interior layout making the most use of available space. The facilities were first class.
