Homemade delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts, spacious bedroom, quietness of location.

Nothing really but the house is located in a residential area at least a half mile from the town center.

Sonia and Jonah are wonderful hosts. On arrival I had a lovely cup of tea with them both. They have restored the building completely themselves with great success. The guesthouse is clean, safe and secure. I enjoyed very much staying here. As a solo traveller the location is hilly but then Coimbra is hilly.

It is nothing to do with the guesthouse but the most direct route from the centre involves a steady climb up some steep stairs and for solo travellers I would recommend at night either taking the long walk around or a taxi.

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Mooie grote kamer met uitstekend bed. Heerlijk ontbijt met verse en kwalitatief goede producten. Binnen een kwartier lopen zaten we al in het centrum en vlakbij de universiteit. Vila Julieta in Coimbra is een echte aanrader!

La camera era molto piccola e senza armadi, c’era un solo piccolo cuscino. L’acqua della doccia non scorreva bene; la colazione era buona ma scarsa

Sehr geschmackvoll renoviertes und mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Haus. Die Gastgeber Sonia und Jonah sind sehr herzlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The property was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The house was walking distance from all the sights in Coimbra and lots of restaurants and shops. There was easy parking on the street.

The house is in a high location and we walked a lot. Although things were not far, it is worth noting that to get from one part of Coimbra to another there are steep streets and long staircases, so if you have difficulty walking you might need to use buses or cabs to get around.

Everything! The host family was delightful, accommodating and warm. Breakfast was fresh, local and abundant. They put a TON of thought into the design and decor. Primo place to stay!
