Vila Julieta Guesthouse

Vila Julieta is everything you could possibly want when traveling. Great location and property, beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained by incredible hosts Jonah and Sonia. We were welcomed immediately, Jonah took our luggage to our rooms and provided a tour, a map and info on how to best get to town. The breakfasts were fabulous, including freshly prepared orange juice and fruits grown on the property. An array of delicious sweet and savory breads, pastries, cheeses, yogurts, eggs, etc. Rooms, bedding and overall property couldn't have been more comfortable or delightful. Every extra touch was thought of and completed. BRAVO! Thank you. Our time in Coimbra was all the more memorable because of our stay here. We didn't want to leave! If you can, book this property. You will not regret it.

If you're visiting Coimbra, this is the place to stay! Everything about it was lovely. Beautifully renovated home and guestrooms with natural light pouring in from the big windows (and there are custom interior wooden shutters to cover the windows at night). My room had a private bathroom with all modern fixtures and plumbing. Sonia and Jonah thought of all the details to make their guests comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with delicious coffee and juice, as well as a great selection of fresh fruits, breads, pastries. The location was good, an easy 20 min walk into the heart of the old town. It was quiet at night, and the bed was super comfy. Sonia and Jonah are gracious and warm hosts and make you feel very welcome. If you have a chance to stay here, don't hesitate to book Vila Julieta Guesthouse!
