Rondebosch Eco Cottages

Our recent stay at Rondebosch Eco Cottages was absolutely wonderful, just like our first visit. Our host Leon went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They are also fully off grid this means you will not experience any loadshedding. They also supply us with firewood. This level of care truly set them apart. The atmosphere at Rondebosch Eco Cottages is cozy and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. Plus, you can see Zebras and Bucks from the front door. We look forward to returning again and highly recommend Rondebosch Eco Cottages to anyone seeking a delightful and welcoming place to stay.

The place is quite exceptional really. Well built accommodation just lacking the necessary management expertise to run a guesthouse. We were uncared for whilst we were there. It’s also a long drive of gravel so make sure you have an appropriate car for the drives in and out to town! Do not use an Uber to get there….you won’t be assisted…

I did not like that I had to make my own fire when all that was available was firewood. There were no matchsticks or charcoal to light the fire. We were freezing cold. I could say the worst thing about the place is the management. Secondly the stove is a gastove, we had no fire to put the gastove plates on… That was the disaster for me. Very little information given about the amenities and a very unhelpful host. I truly believe if a woman ran the place, the place would be better run.

Was great.. private and quiet piece of heaven.. will go there again for sure.. great place to work with comfort.. Just a pity it gets so dark early in Middleburg..
