Honest Review basis of my staying experience at Rampukar Singh Homestay, Ayodhya (1st–3rd January) I want to share my genuine experience, as most other reviews on Google seem to be from family members or friends of the management. Unfortunately, my stay with my family of five was marked by dissatisfaction and harassment. Location & Accessibility: The shared location was misleading, causing an hour of frustration trying to find the property in this cool winter. The access road is narrow and poorly maintained, adding to the inconvenience. Facilities & Room Quality: Although advertised as a three-bedroom homestay, only one bedroom was functional. The other two lacked AC and attached bathrooms. Towels were not provided initially and were arranged only after repeated requests, despite the caretaker stating they usually don’t provide them. Caretaker & Management: The caretaker often miscommunicated appeared unprofessional, and pretended not to understand guest requests. The owner excused this behaviour by claiming the caretaker was illiterate, which reflects poorly on the property’s management. Disturbing Incident: The most shocking experience was when a man named Shaurya Singh entered our room uninvited, behaved rudely, and used abusive language in front of my elderly in-laws. He falsely claimed to be the owner but later apologized. The actual owner, Aman Singh, clarified his identity over text. Payment Concerns: Guests should exercise caution while making payments, especially online, and verify the recipient. Rs.8424 with tax for 2 nights in this homestay, not justified according to the amenities provided. Service Issues: Even minor services, such as serving adequate quantities of tea, were poorly handled, which the owner himself acknowledged. Additionally, the caretaker’s detailed room inspection before checkout was intrusive and humiliating. Overall Experience: The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic hospitality made our stay unpleasant.

The property is luxurious, spacious and clean. They also provide food on request with some nominal charges. Food is home cooked and tastes good.

You may have some difficulty in finding the location but the caretaker will help you with that.

Host is good, they taken care everything. They provided home prepared food. Food also good. Property is new, clean and good.
